Palfrey and Gasser have provided an in-depth look at some of the challenges and opportunities facing the new generation of "digital natives" and those of us who work with them, educate them, and nurture them.  Rather than taking a reactionary approach, the authors objectively examine the emerging culture and innovations that are driven by digital natives.  Although Palfrey and Gasser point out the many technological and cultural innovations that are driven by digital natives, they are careful to point out the dangers and challenges that have resulted from the expectations of this group.  Their examination of the changing privacy expectations (or lack thereof) that are held by this group was particularly well-articulated.
