Exquisitely beautiful in parts

Breathtakingly beautiful in parts.  An Ojibwa artist illustrated this.  Not all the stories are Ojibwa, at least one is Inuit.  Has a discussion of storytelling among indigenous peoples that is nice, also.  The closest comparable is Joseph Bruchac, but this book is still very much...
