A story of immigrants, skateboarding, and compassion

Bold graphics and a story that inspires compassion make this a terrific read.  Adnan flees war-wracked Syria and lands in San Francisco.  His skills on the skateboard allows him to make friends quickly, except with one large, surly classmate.  Adnan, having experienced much scarier...
